The open web doesn't belong to whoever has the biggest travel budget. The /GoLive Community Scholarship covers your pass, your hotel, and (for many recipients) your travel to Miami. We won’t let budget decide who gets to build what's next. Applications close August 18, 2026. Decisions sent by August 20.

Best for applicants within driving distance of Miami, or who can cover their own travel.
Which tier you’re offered depends on your situation and what you tell us in your application — you don’t choose a tier when you apply.
Who should apply
- You work in web, digital, IT, communications, or marketing at a higher-ed institution, government agency (state, local, or federal), k-12 institution, or a registered nonprofit.
- Your organization doesn’t have a travel or training budget set aside for this event.

FAQs
No, if you want to be part of the future of web, you have a place at GoLive.
This round is focused on practitioners currently working in web, IT, communications, or marketing roles at eligible organizations, so students and faculty are not currently eligible.
Very likely, but you and your organization are responsible for checking compliance with organization and government level regulations. Government and public-education recipients are responsible for confirming that accepting a sponsored scholarship for an educational opportunity — pass, hotel, or flight — is allowed under their organization’s ethics and gift-acceptance policies before accepting an award.
You’re all set — no need to apply separately.
Decisions go out by August 20, but we will roll out some awards earlier. Every applicant gets a response either way.
We keep a waitlist in case other recipients can’t attend, and we’ll let you know if a spot opens up.
Unfortunately not, we evaluate on a case by case basis.
We’d be sad to miss you, and unfortunately these sponsorships are non-transferable. If you are unable to make it, please let us know so we can give someone else access.
